The Category tab is your gateway to your rawest notes.
That is, your simplest, loosest, least focused, but most wide-ranging ones.
Ideas that you have yet to associate with a Project.
Earmark for a particular story/poem/essay/dissertation/history/blog post/comedy routine/recipe collection/et cetera.
Category notes are stored under a title.
A word or phrase that you define.
One that encapsulates the principal theme or concern of the notes under it.
For example, Orphan Story, Rome, Evolution, or Cats would all be valid Category titles.
A philosophical or political topic, recipe, spec title for a short-story/novel/play/screenplay/history/comedy routine/blog/et cetera, a Category title may refer to any subject under the sun.
A Category title may reference a lightbulb idea or epiphany; so, in addition to the arts and humanities, may be suited to scientific and technological literature.
After you have accumulated a number of notes under a particular Category title, you may print them out for review.
Or export them to the clipboard, and from here copy them to your desktop publishing package.
After you have amassed a number of notes under a particular Category, you may develop them further by converting them into a Project.
